The goal of the Fall 2018 grant cycle is to maximize access to care and promote equity in our region by supporting health safety net organizations in their ability to better serve the needs of the community within the Medicaid expansion landscape.
RMHF is committing up to $500,000 per year in 2019 and 2020 to support health safety net providers (and partnering organizations where appropriate). Funding awards will be made for two years in the form of general operating support and/or project-specific line items, as appropriate to the proposal.
In keeping with its mission, RMHF seeks to support initiatives that acknowledge the role of race and racism in health inequities. The Foundation will require a racial equity impact assessment to guide each grant project. Training and learning sessions will be provided to support this goal.
